Back in the day while waiting for a new 330D the BMW garage managed to lose the order. I was not best pleased as I was driving a very temperamental Ford Orion. I talked to the MD who arranged for a brand new 735i to be delivered for me to use in the meantime. I managed to do over 3000 miles in three months and felt distinctly underwhelmed when the 330d finally arrived. JKC Coleraine still my favourite BMW garage and as a family we have been buying cars from them for over 30 years.
Geoff has lots of cars, keep quiet about this one and don't mention it to him and he'll likely forget he bought it so you can keep and use it as BMW intended.
Cheers Mr Zippy, glad that you are enjoying this, dunno how long I will do it for, but I certainly find writing these stories fun. Yeah Build Back beige was something the WEF missed although I did put Build Back Banger on the cover of Bangernomics will save the world. Because it just might. Thanks again for your your feedback, much appreciated.
Hello Sumeet, I might put some video up on You Tube, i know you are subscribed. regards james

Many thanks, James
That sounds like a cunning plan. I'll go with that Andy!

Great story James. Unfortunately all E38s in Australia are V8s. Quite silly really, especially the 3 litre one.

Too much complication, that's a shame. Still pretty to look at when parked!
Fantastic story Neville, that is proper customer service. It is amazing what a loan car can do.
Hello, James wonderful article. Can you tell me the name of the body shop? My 7 is similarly scab-ridden.
New to your work, James, for which I apologise profusely.
However, all good things come to he who waits, and I am thoroughly enjoying your unique style. Thank you.
And silly me for thinking that, "B,B,B", was build back better when, all along, it was, "Best Beige Barge".
